The weather here in Myrtle Beach has been fantastic, and so has the fishing. Fall is perhaps my favorite time of year to be on the water when fishing is at it’s best. We’ve been catching speckled trout on a consistent basis, primarily using artificial baits like the Vudu Srimp under a popping cork. Redfish are starting to really school up tight in shallow water which give us some great opportunities to catch them on fly fishing gear. We are also still catching flounder, black drum and sheepshead around the jetties and other areas where structure is present.
